Tarkan, electrifying

The Turkish singer gave recently a concert in Bucharest, on the stage of Sala Polivalenta. SLS Events Agency organized the event. Tarkan’s extraordinary concert in Bucharest was part of the International tour for promoting his new album, “Come Closer”, the first in English. As warm up act, Andreea Banica (alias Blondy) sang for 20 minutes, accompanied by her two female dancers. At 21:15, Tarkan showed up, wearing a bright tuxedo, a knavish cravat, saying: “Good evening! Firstly I have to apologize for postponing the concert so many times”. Energetic and charismatic, the artist makes his shows with many special effects. The show had many pyrotechnic effects. Nine instrumental artists and two backing vocals accompanied Tarkan for the Bucharest recital. The location change, from Sala Palatului to Sala Polivalenta, was due to the fact that a place large enough for people to dance was considered, and this promised an electrifying evening. Among those present at Tarkan’s recital there were Turkey’s Ambassador in Bucharest, the girls from Etnic and Ionut from Provincialii. Tarkan sang as well songs in English as in Turkish. In the concert hall were a lot of Turks, Tarkan’s fans. He changed several outfits on the stage: if he worn at the beginning a bright tuxedo, at the end of the show he showed up sexy, wearing a black T-shirt with black pans as well. The show could be watched on three wide screens, one in the middle of the stage and the other two at the left and at the right. His recital ended at 23:00 with a call for encore, Tarkan saying “I’ll certainly come back in Romania. I had a very good time here”
